Bocce Scorebook Example - Roll by Roll Description:

The Situation: You are the red team. You fill out who is playing in that game on each end of the court. Fred M. and Alice T. are rolling from one side to start the game. You will use their initials to indicate which player rolled.

Setting the Pallino: the pallino was rolled out and stopped at the middle of the court towards the right side. (MR)

We are ready for Frame 1:
Roll 1: Fred M. (FM) rolls Straight (S) towards the pallino, does not touch the wall or pallino and scores one point for the red team (R1)
Roll 2: Green Player 1 (G1) banks (B) his roll off the wall, hits the the other bocce (HB) but does not score a point, it remains one point red (R1)
Roll 3: Green Player 2 (G2) rolls a straight shooting (SS) bocce, hits the red bocce away (HB) and lays inside with one green ball (G1)
Roll 4: Alice (AT) rolls a bank (B) off the wall but does not get inside green's point, remains one green (G1)
Roll 5: Alice (AT) rolls a shooting bank (BS) that hits the green bocce (HB) and takes back the point for the red team (R1)
Roll 6: Green Player 1 (G1) banks a bocce off the wall (B) that touches the pallino (HP) but does not affect red's point (R1)
Roll 7: Green Player 2 (G2) banks off the wall (B) and falls closer to the pallino for green point (G1)
Roll 8: Fred (FM) rolls straight (S) that bumps the green bocce away (HB) and scores the point for red (R1)
Frame Result: No points for Green and one point for Red (0 - 1)

The Player and Team Total Sheet will allow you to add up each straight/banked roll, how many times another bocce was touched or if the pallino was moved. This may provide insight on which player has strengths or weakness rolling straight or using the sideboards or in what order the player should roll. Many other statistical trends can be made from taking accurate scoring and placing it in the Player/Team Totals. Make the most of every roll. Score it!
